Humming Puppy is a yoga studio in Chelsea with modern interiors, calming sounds, and teachers who actually inspire. The entire space vibrates at 7.83 Hz and 40 Hz (the Schumann resonance mixed with gamma brainwaves, if you’re curious), creating this low hum that grounds you the second you walk in. Black walls, high ceilings, overstuffed couches in the lobby, and a quartz chandelier that makes you want to linger before and after class. Classes range from Mellow Hum (restorative) to Dynamic Hum (challenging), all heated to 80 degrees. Good teaching and a space that makes you feel held.
