Alo Yoga on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan is one of those stores you walk into for one thing and leave feeling like you need to rethink your entire wardrobe. Multiple floors, a sculptural spiral staircase and a downstairs space that feels more like a gallery than a shop, with photography on the walls and a pace that has nothing to do with Fifth Avenue outside. I came for new pants for yoga and Reformer Pilates and found exactly what I was looking for. The kind of store that makes you want to go straight from the changing room to the reformer. Central Park is a short walk away, which makes this an easy stop to build a full Manhattan morning around.
